Strawberry was a rabbit from Cowslip's Warren who joined Hazel and settled in Watership Down Warren.
Personality[]
Strawberry is sometimes very lazy but he is helpful. He tries not to hurt to some other rabbits and tries his best to change himself for the greater good.
In the TV Series, Strawberry is lazy until getting discharged by Bigwig's Owsla, he later joins back and in Season 3, he can take Hawkbit down in a fight. He's also much more stronger and less lazy.
In the Miniseries however, Strawberry is energetic, intelligent and strong. He is also a doe in this adaptation. She is seen with Clover and a few other does fighting two Efrafan Owslafa bravely. She also has kits with Bigwig. Overall in the Miniseries, Strawberry is motherly, energetic, intelligent, brave and strong. But she can also feel sad as when talking to Hazel to join his warren just like the other adaptations.

Strawberry is introduced when Hazel and his rabbits arrive at Cowslip's warren. He is described as large but dandy, as was typical of Cowslip's Warren rabbits. His doe, who was named Nildro-hain, was killed in a snare. When Hazel and the other Sandleford Warren survivors left the Warren of Snares, Strawberry begged to join them. Hazel agreed that he could join the group. Although Hazel notices that Strawberry has a harder time traveling, he was said to have never complained and arrived with the others when they found the Watership Down Warren. Strawberry also assisted the others with the design for the Honeycomb, as his old warren had also had a large burrow.

Strawberry in Season 1.
Strawberry is a lazy rabbit who leaves the Warren of the Shining Wires with Hazel and the others, since he likes to sleep in the burrow a lot. But later he becomes dependable after realizing that he wasn't being very helpful towards the Watership Down rabbits.
Strawberry stuck under a log in Season 3.
In season 3, Strawberry's color has changed to dark-pink and he has a much larger role. He has joined Bigwig's Owsla and is a skilled fighter and digger. He eventually becomes stuck under a tree during a training exercise, and is freed by Dandelion and Hawkbit. After Fiver has a vision of Hawkbit being killed, Strawberry is ordered by Bigwig to keep him in the warren at all times, pinning him to the ground and even fighting Hawkbit at one point. In The Magic, he is seen fighting several of the Darkhaven Owsla, and in the Watership Down warren when the storm takes away General Woundwort and his Darkhaven army.

Miniseries[]
Strawberry in the miniseries.
Strawberry is portrayed as a doe in this version. The Sandleford rabbits meet her in Cowslip's warren, where she excitedly gives Hazel a tour of the warren and asks if they can be friends. After becoming horrified at Cowslip's attempt to stop the rabbits from saving Bigwig, who was caught in a snare, she leaves the warren to join the Sandleford rabbits.
Hawkbit and Dandelion both develop romantic feelings for Strawberry, and begin fighting over her, much to her annoyance. After being left with the two of them and Kehaar, she comes up with the idea of digging out the warren for when everyone comes back, making the two bucks help her. In a humorous moment, she digs out an entire main tunnel in the time that Hawkbit and Dandelion dig one short tunnel.
During the battle, she helps Hazel, Fiver, and Blackavar slip through the Efrafans. After the battle of Watership Down, she becomes Bigwig’s mate, and has kittens with him. She most likely felt a sense of relief, not having to deal with Hawkbit and Dandelion anymore, but she still had problems with her kittens picking up several worms to feed Kehaar.
The Journey[]
Strawberry is seen in Cowslip's Warren, she excitedly asks to be Fiver and Hazel's friend and shows them around the warren. She then shows them a gem made by a rabbit named Laburnum. After Bigwig gets in a snare, she begs to join Watership Down warren, Hazel lets her join and they all go to the Down.
The Raid[]
While Hazel, Bigwig and Fiver raid the farm and Holly, Blackberry and Bluebell go to Efrafa, Strawberry hopes the two are alright. When Hawkbit objects saying what about herself, him and Dandelion, as they have no warren and it'll turn dark soon, giving Strawberry an idea, she tells the two bucks to help her dig. When Hawkbit and Dandelion fight over who digs with Strawberry and who feeds Kehaar, Strawberry tells them to stop fighting or they won't be friends anymore, prompting Kehaar to tease the two bucks and says, sarcastically, that they must have a ton of charm and how can a doe resist it.
Later on, Dandelion and Hawkbit are amazed that during their time digging one tunnel, Strawberry has dug an entire burrow, the Honeycomb.
The Escape[]
The Siege[]
Strawberry calls Bigwig funny.
She is seen running to Bigwig and nuzzling him after the infiltration and escape from Efrafa, she tells the escapees that there's enough room for them all. During a scene, Strawberry is with Bigwig, chuckling and calling him funny. She shows discomfort when Hawkbit and Dandelion try to confess their love for her and when Hawkbit tells her to choose one of them. she lies saying she forgot about that and asks the two bucks to give her more time, when Hawkbit adds an awkward and weird last part, Strawberry leaves, the two bucks fight over that.
While Efrafa is attacking the Down, Strawberry joins Clover and the other does with attacking the Efrafans. She attacks a guard and takes the guard down successfully. When Fiver says he and Hazel have to get to the farm, Strawberry helps them out. After the siege, her and Bigwig have three kits. At the last scene of the episode, she is seen listening to Bluebell telling a story to the kits with Bigwig, Hyzenthlay and a few others.
