Snowdrop is an old buck from Efrafa. He acts as an advisor to General Woundwort on the Efrafan Council. He is partially deaf with age.
It is mentioned that no one knew more than him about organizing a warren for safety. He devised the arrangement of Mark burrows in Efrafa so that they did not connect underground. This layout prevented both disease and conspiracy from spreading throughout the entire warren. Snowdrop also advised Woundwort to halt the expansion of Efrafa's tunnels so that they could maintain central control and prevent discovery by men.
Being a Councillor, Snowdrop was presumably present when Holly went to ask the Council if any does might want to join him. A "very old rabbit" on the Council, likely Snowdrop, tells Holly “You seem to think you’re here to argue with us and drive a bargain. But we’re the ones to say what you’re going to do.”
When Bigwig, Hyzenthlay, and several other rabbits escape Efrafa, Snowdrop advises Woundwort to not go after them and essentially ignore the escape so that the remaining Efrafans will forget about it. Woundwort does not take his advice on this account.
Snowdrop does not appear in anything but the original book.
