Shale is a rabbit from the Darkhaven Warren who appeared in Season 3 of the TV series. He is one of the antagonists, and together with Felspar, he serves as a minion first to Granite and then to General Woundwort.
Shale is one of the biggest rabbits in Darkhaven, but even his strength is shown to be no match for General Woundwort who is able to bring Shale to the ground.

- In seasons 1 and 2 there is a grey and white Efrafan that makes the same facial expressions as Shale. Some fans believe that it is a prototype version of Shale.
