Rithla is a messenger for Efrafa.

Biography

Rithla was born on Watership Down after the events of the novel. He was sent by Hazel to deliver a message to Campion in Efrafa, and he settled down there when he mated with an Efrafan doe and fathered a litter. In Tales from Watership Down, Campion sent Rithla to guide a party of emigrating does to the Watership Down warren. Rithla led the does as far as Caesar's Belt, then went ahead to inform Hazel and Hyzenthlay about their arrival.
