Quiens is an older rabbit from the Efrafa warren that Nyreem greatly admired. In Tales from Watership Down, she is one of a group of does who peaceably leaves Efrafa to move to Watership Down. Hyzenthlay meets them halfway and gives them directions to the Down. Not much is said about Quiens, only that she jumped down on a river bank once, causing Nyreem to follow after but injure her leg in the process.
