Old Brock, or Lord Brock, was an crazy old Lendri, or badger, that took Rabscuttle and El-ahrairah as slaves.

El-ahrairah and the Lendri[]

In the chapter eleven of Tales from Watership Down, El-ahrairah is told by a rat that he must find Old Brock if he wants to get to the other side of a very big forest. When he and Rabscuttle finally find Old Brock that are scared that he might eat them or simply refuse help. But Old Brock decides to keep them around and make them bring him food for them possibility of help. Grudgingly, El-ahrairah and Rabscuttle both do as they are told until they find an dead man buried in dirt. Once they find this they quickly go and hide but not for long until another man comes and finds the dead body. Soon, even more men come to investigate, Old Brock sees the crowd of people and becomes uneasy; deciding to leave the forest. El-ahrairah and Rabscuttle follow Old Brock until he unknowingly leads them out of the forest.
