"Friend and Enemy" is the twelfth episode of Season 1.
Plot synopsis[]
Certain that the Efrafans are getting closer to the warren, Hazel and his friends decide to leave false trails leading them away from the warren. On a Wide Patrol at the Greenhouse, Moss gets his hind-leg stuck in a trap, he gets out. But trouble lies for Captain Campion, as he has an encounter with a hawk. Hazel, being as caring as he is, helps Campion but puts his own life in danger when they both meet an enemy the two of them have never encountered before.
The two bucks manage to escape when Bigwig and the others take a barrier out of a broken window. Despite Vervain's protests, Campion lies and says that he saw him instead of Hazel.
