Flax is a friend of Hickory who appears in the TV series.
Even though there's no Owsla in Redstone, Flax seems to be responsible for the guards. Together with other Redstone rabbits, he ends up on Watership Down after humans destroyed their warren.
It also should be noted that Flax has a very similar design to Strawberry in season 3.

Flax, along with Hickory, Marigold, Gentian and other rabbits, escape Cowslip's Warren with the help of Hazel, Bigwig, Fiver and Captain Broom.

In "The Dark Deal", Flax and Hickory talk about how Woundwort (Under the alias Wheatstalk.) could be an enemy. Later, Flax tells Hazel and Bigwig that Hickory is behind the rocks and dirt during the destruction of Redstone Warren.
