Feldspar is a buck from Darkhaven Warren. He is often seen with Shale and Granite. He is a minor antagonist in the third season of the Watership Down TV series.
Personality[]
Feldspar is a tough warrior rabbit who is quick to resort to violence. He seems to be friends with Shale and is usually seen with him, including supporting Shale when he questions Campion's leadership. He also is shown to believe in the Dark One prophecy, since he immediately decides to serve Woundwort. As he is a minor character, not much is known about his personality.

The Dark Deal[]
He is seen attacking Campion with Spartina, Granite, and Shale, once Spartina says for the bucks to stop and suggests the wanderer would to good in the Battle Pit, they take him to Darkhaven Warren. Later, he is seen in the crowd watching Granite and Campion fight. When Shale complains about Campion taking leadership, both Feldspar and Shale go to fight Campion. But when Campion threatens the duo, Feldspar and Shale both leave.
Darkhaven[]
Feldspar is seen watching Granite challenge and fight Campion for the chieftaincy, a fight which he loses again.
He accompanies Granite, Spartina, and Shale on a patrol, where they are ambushed and easily defeated by Woundwort. Woundwort is about to kill them when Spartina convinces him to spare them by pointing out they can be useful as minions.
Feldspar is seen behind Campion with a few others before he fights Woundwort, and when Campion flees he is one of the few rabbits that chase him alongside Shale and Granite. Later Feldspar, Campion, Shale, and others from Darkhaven go to find Watership Down Warren they get into a fight with Bigwig, Hazel and Fiver after noticing Blackberry and Primrose are trespassing to find Woundwort. Feldspar is seen pinning down Blackberry but leaves to find Campion, leaving Spartina to capture Blackberry. He is soon seen with Campion and Granite chasing Bigwig, Hazel, Fiver and Primrose towards a bridge.
The Eyes of Silverweed[]
He is briefly seen when Woundwort sends his warriors out to recapture Silverweed, though they are unsuccessful.
The Spy[]

Feldspar and Shale go with Vervain to arrest Blackberry for breaking Darkhaven law. He is seen with Vervain and Shale attempting to kill Blackberry, though he is attacked by Campion and being pinned down by the stronger buck. As Campion attacks Shale, Feldspar goes to help Shale in fighting Campion. After a few minutes of fighting, Campion pushes both Shale and Feldspar off of the machine and into the dirt.
The Betrayal[]
He is seen with Campion, Shale, and Granite as they spar with a horde of other Darkhaven warriors. Later on, he informs Woundwort that Spartina has returned to Darkhaven. He then follows Woundwort, Vervain, Granite, and Shale to listen to Spartina's report. He alerts Woundwort to Blackberry's attempted escape, and when Campion tries to run, Feldspar and Shale attack him.
Later when Spartina falls for Vervain's trick, Feldspar is seen arresting her with Granite and dragging her off. The next day, Feldspar is one of several Darkhaven warriors escorting the prisoners (Blackberry, Spartina and Campion) to their execution. While Blackberry and Spartina are thrown in the pit to be killed, Feldspar and Granite bring Campion to Woundwort to force him to betray the location of Watership Down.
The Beginning of the End[]
Feldspar is seen in the crowd of rabbits during Woundwort's declaration of war and later is one of the Darkhaven rabbits to throw Blackberry, Spartina, and Campion to Woundwort. Later, he is one of the few rabbits that chase off the weasel. When he realizes Campion is running with Blackberry and Spartina, he chases them with Woundwort to the ravine, but fails to capture them.
The Magic[]
Feldspar is one of the many rabbits with General Woundwort's army to attack Watership Down and is later seen in the crowd watching Bigwig fight General Woundwort. In the final battle, he is seen fighting Spartina, who kicks him and says, "That's for Bigwig!" Feldspar is one of the many rabbits that is taken by the Black Rabbit of Inlé.
