Crowla is a doe of the Watership Down Warren. She appears in Tales from Watership Down during chapter 17 - Sandwort.

Tales from Watership Down

Crowla does not formerly appear, but is mentioned in chapter 17 of Tales from Watership Down. She seems to have been an admirer of Sandwort's, as she joined him on one of his expeditions one day. However, the group returned without Crowla, and when questioned about her whereabouts, Sandwort doesn't know and has little concern. When Crowla does not return to Watership Down, she is assumed dead.

Hazel questions Sandwort, who believes that her disappearance is not his concern, and he had no responsibility for her as she chose to come with him. Hazel reminds him that she was inexperienced and much younger than him, but Sandwort still believes it's not his problem. It is unknown what happened to Crowla.
